Ezekiel was selected to be performed in the annual Boston Work in Progress Showing on Friday, April 11th! Please read below for more information on the shows, and Simon’s newest work.

About Boston WiP:

Boston WiP is an annual low stakes platform for dance and performing artists to present movement driven work. Join us for an evening featuring eight new work-in-progress performances, all presented by local artists. The show will run twice with the same program. This installment of WiP will be presented in partnership with Somerville Arts Council’s SomArt Space Program! Shows at 6pm and 8pm.

About Ezekiel:

Ezekiel  is a call back to where my relationship with the earth began; within the branches and leaves of my childhood tree, with whom I spent far too many hours climbing in, singing to the birds, and finding shade on the blistering South Texas days. Ezekiel is an external build of hope, release, love, and celebration as I look towards the future. As I accept the gifts bestowed upon me from my ancestors and the earth, and in turn share those gifts with my community. The gift of dance, the gift of my feet bounding across the earth, the gift of spreading my joy upon others; there is never scarcity where reciprocity exists.
